A 22-year-old lady, Suliat Badmus, has been captured for purportedly taking her relative’s five-month-old infant, 24 hours after she moved into the family’s homestead Odogunyan, Ikorodu zone of Lagos, since she is desolate.

The suspect, Suliat Badmus, as accumulated, was captured in Sabo region of Ikorodu, after eight days with the infant whom she told curious occupants was hers.

Badmus, as assembled, moved into her female relative’s condo situated on 1, Adeyiga Road, Odogunyan, Ikorodu, on September 26, in the wake of persuading the family that she had settlement issue.

Following day, after her relative, Shukurat Opeoluwadu, went to peddle nearby prescription prominently known as Agbo, abandoning her infant being taken care of by a 50-year-old lady, Oluwakemi Amosun, Badmus, dashed with the infant.

Dread set in after an unending sit tight for her arrival, subsequent whereupon the Police were alarmed.

The Chief of Police, Lagos State Police Direction, Imohimi Edgal, who clarified how the escaping suspect was captured and the stolen kid saved, stated: “In light of the grumbling, I initiated the Counter Seizing organ of the order to pursue the suspect and protect the infant.
